18 Mar CDO Archdiocese won’t join police anti-drug operations
In a report from Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, Archbishop Antonio Ledesma said they are willing to help in the ‘anti-drug’ campaign but will not join police anti-drug operations. Ledesma added that they are willing to help in the rehabilitation of arrested suspects.
The Philippine National Police has invited the priests and pastors to join them in the Oplan Tokhang Part 2 to allow the suspects to surrender and avoid bloodshed.
Ledesma added that the police can round up arrested suspects in their operations and then bring them to the church so that the priests can help in their rehabilitation.
