11 Feb Cagayan de Oro Celebrates “National Arts Month” With Art Tents 2020
In the Philippines, we celebrate the National Arts Month every February. Art events are then held in various locations, as well as in malls.
In Cagayan de Oro, artists have the “Art Tents” which is an annual event at the Centrio Ayala Mall. This year, the said event commenced last February 7, 2020 and will end by February 12, 2020.
Art Tents is a 5-day event where local artists gather to exhibit their talents in doing art, transforming the Activity Center of Ayala Centrio Mall into an open gallery of masterpieces from talented animators, designers, painters, poets, and writers.

There’s also a maker’s market, booth workshops, film marathon, indie music, public art, live mural painting, and art talks by the following artists:

The event is in partnership with Ayala Foundation to help raise funds for rebuilding a tent community in Kidapawan City.
