12 Oct CDO City Council Passes Resolution Aiming For The Provisional Opening Of Internet Cafes, Gyms, Spas, & More
Mga higala! The 19th City Council of Cagayan de Oro has passed a resolution “requesting” Mayor Oscar Moreno and the city’s COVID-19 Task Force to consider allowing the provisional opening of the following establishments that have been greatly affected by the restrictions of the pandemic:
- internet cafes (and pisonets)
- videoke and other entertainment establishments
- sports centers
- gymnasiums and other indoor fitness facilities
- massage parlors or spas
- white water rafting and other tourism-related establishments
This will help the owners and workers who lost their livelihood due to the closure of said establishments.
ICYDK, this resolution is in line with the continuing decrease of COVID-19 cases in the city.
