22 Jun CDO City Jail Receives 36-Bed Quarantine Facility from the City Gov’t to Protect Inmates from COVID-19
Through a collaboration with the Department of Health (DOH), the City Government of Cagayan de Oro was able to provide the city jail with a 36-bed quarantine facility.
This isolation unit is located on the 3rd floor of the City Jail Male Dormitory and has areas for doffing, donning, hand-washing, and a nurses station compliant to health protocols set by DOH.
The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) commended the city government for such a response against COVID-19 to protect the city inmates.
