07 Apr CDO Government Implements House-to-House Survey to Trace Carriers of COVID-19
In an effort to trace those who are possible carriers of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the city government of Cagayan de Oro has started enforcing a “house-to-house survey”, followed by the immediate isolation of individuals who display symptoms of the said disease.
Individuals found to have flu-like symptoms and respiratory illnesses will be investigated regarding their travel histories and if they have possibly come across any COVID-19 positive patients.
With the implementation of the said survey, the number of PUIs and PUMs might increase.
