CDO Gov’t To Allocate P300-500 Million For COVID-19 Vaccination

Mga higala! The City Government of Cagayan de Oro is planning to allocate around P300-P500 million as counterpart funds for its COVID-19 vaccination program!

This was stated by Mayor Oscar Moreno in a recent press briefing.

“Sayun raman muingon nga P200 million, or even P300 million or even P500 million. Kung kinahanglan gyud, we will set that aside. Pero we want to know pila ba gyud ang atong kinahanglan and then ang timetable ana.

Akong tan-aw between P300 million to P500 million ang atong i-allocate. We will have to set aside money for that.”

However, this budget will depend on the prioritization, the actual cost of the vaccines, and the government’s plans for vaccine rollout.
