03 Nov CDO Gov’t To Soon Conduct Random COVID-19 Swab Tests

Mga higala! The City Health Office (CHO) of Cagayan de Oro will soon be conducting random swab tests thru reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) for a targeted “prevalence test survey” for COVID-19!
According to a post by Stephen Capillas, around 1,700 to 2,500 residents will be chosen for this survey.
The said swab tests will then be conducted with the facilities of the Department of Health (DOH) and the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC).
As of now, the CHO is just waiting for the DOH and NMMC to upgrade their equipment in order to start testing.
