30 Aug CDO To Implement Underground Electric Wires & Network Cable System

Mga higala! Cagayan de Oro’s Task Force on Information & Communication Technology (ICT) has been given the approval to start “Project Velez”, a measure that aims to turn the city’s current aerial electric and network cables into an underground cable system.

According to the Philippine News Agency, the project will consist of three phases and will be initially implemented in CDO’s three main highways–Velez Street, Corrales, and CM Recto Avenue, a national road.

A conference will be held tomorrow, August 31, in order to finalize the target locations of this underground cable system, and the schedule of relocation for the current electric wires and network cables in the city.
