12 Jan City Hall Job Order Employees of CDO Now Allowed as SSS Members

Cagayan de Oro City. Mayor Oscar Moreno has signed a Memorandum of Agreement yesterday, January 11, that allows interested Job Order personnel of the city to become voluntary self-employed members of the Social Security System.
The event was attended by SSS executives, led by Vice President for Northern Mindanao Division Edwin M. Alo and SSS Cagayan de Oro Branch Head Raine L. Jamero.
This is a great news for J.O. workers since it’s an additional opportunity to gain benefits that will help them in the future. Being a member will let them enjoy salary loan privileges, benefits on sickness, maternity, disability, etc.
Further details from CDO City Philippines Facebook page also stated that Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy, CDO Asst. Branch Head Simon Jude Obut, City Administrator Teddy Sabuga-a, City Accountant Atty. Beda Joy Elot and City Budget Officer Atty. Percy Salazar witnessed the signing.
