07 Jul CDO-Laguindingan Mountain Diversion Road To Reduce Travel Time To 30 Minutes
Mga higala! The travel time between Cagayan de Oro City and Laguindingan will soon be reduced from 1 hour and 11 minutes to only 30 minutes, with the completion of the CDO-Laguindingan Mountain Diversion Road!
The construction of this new diversion road is now at around 52% and is expected to be finished by December 2022, according to DPWH Secretary Mark Villar.
ICYDK, the CDO-Laguindingan Mountain Diversion Road is a P3.12-billion project and has a total length of 35.89 kilometers.
It starts from the Pueblo de Oro Road (aka the CDO Airport Road) and will pass multiple CDO barangays and the municipalities of Opol, El Salvador, Alubijid, and Laguindingan.
