28 Sep CDO Malls Lead PLASTIC BAN: No Plastic Bags On Wednesdays & Saturdays Starting October
Mga higala! Cagayan de Oro MALLS will stop issuing PLASTIC BAGS on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting this coming October, in order to campaign for the city’s new regulation that will be implemented in January 2019.
According to CLENRO Head Engineer Armen Cuenca, all mall managers in the CDO have agreed to support the city government’s effort to be plastic-free.
Cuenca said all of the business establishments are cooperating with their plan and will heed CLENRO’s initiative to create special counters for purchasing customers using their own reusable bags, in an aim to promote eco-bags. –SUNSTAR CDO
