In a news by Sun Star, Cagayan de Oro’s Muay Thai fighter, Alcer Lozada recently bagged two silver medals in different championships, respectively, in Bangkok, Thailand.
Lozada bagged a silver medal in the 14th World Muay Thai Championships last week and achieved another silver medal in the 4th World Muay Boran Championships – 69.5-kilogram men’s category last Monday.
During the first round of finals, Lozada was prompted to quit against an Australian opponent because he already endured bruises in his left foot when he fought two fighters – French and Greek, respectively, in the first two rounds on his way to finals.
“Imagine, duha ka world tournaments ang iyang gidula. Syempre, bun-og kaayo siya (he competed in two world tournaments. Of course he’ll be bruised),” said trainer Beh Barothy Hung.
