02 Jun CDO Police List of Drug Personalities in the City is not a Salvage List
On Wednesday, June 1, 125 names have been submitted by the village officials in Cagayan de Oro City to the CDO Police Office (COCPO). According to Chief Inspector Victor Cacdac, officer-in-charge of COCPO’s Operations and Plans Branch, the names included in the list are not subject for salvage, but for arrest and investigation.
“Sa report engage sila sa illegal drug activities, bina-validate na yan as of this time, if proven they are invovled, huhulihin sila kaagad,” said Cacdac.
“It’s a case to case basis, it depends on the different situations,” he added, stressing the scenarios where the accused will retaliate in the arrest with violence.
On Wednesday, June 1, an operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Northern Mindanao and the Policemen of Police Station 3 in Agora in Barangay Lapasan.
A suspected drug pusher, Yuni Tanato, has been arrested during the operation who is now detained at the Police Station 3 jail facility. Six plastic sachets of Shabu were recovered from Tanato.
Police Station 3 commander Chief Inspector Ariel Philip Pontillas said that Tanato is included in the initial list of drug personalities that has been submitted to them.
Pontillas reminded the public that they will be having a zero tolerance in their campaign. Even police officers in their uniform will not be spared.
