In a report from Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, CDO police are now on red alert as a group of men believed to be members of the New People’s Army were seen in the city’s mountainous area at Barangay Tuburan.
COCPO Spokesperson C/Insp Mardy Hortillosa said they were seen by local villagers in the area. However, assured the safety and security of the people in the city.
He added that at the same month last year, there were reports of families evacuating the vicinity due to this group’s presence.
