30 May Cagayan de Oro City’s Pride “Prince” Albert Pagara Trains in US Soil with UFC Champion Rafael dos Anjos
The 22-year old pride of Cagayan de Oro City, “Prince” Albert Pagara is currently training under strength and conditioning coach Nick Curson. Together with him in his preparation is UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos.
It can be seen on Curson’s Instagram account a video of Pagara and Dos Anjos engaging in various medicine ball drills during their training in the USA.
Pagara is the current title holder for the WBO Intercontinental super bantamweight title. He is currently ranked no. 9 in the world for the junior featherweight division.
He is scheduled to face Mexican boxer Cesar Juarez on July 9 at the San Mateo Event Center, San Mateo, California. With this fight, he is attempting to move up in the rankings.
Meanwhile, Dos Anjos will defend his lightweight strap against Eddie Alvarez at UFC Fight Night 90 on July 7.
Albert Pagara has a professional record of 26 wins with no defeats and draws, 18 of those wins coming off a way of knockout.
