Mga higala! Cagayan de Oro City commemorated the Sendong tragedy today, December 16, 2022, with a special mass at the St. Augustine Cathedral!
A wreath-laying activity was then held at the Sendong Memorial in Gaston Park.

ICYDK, this is the said disaster’s 11 anniversary.
It caused torrential rains on December 16 and 17, 2011, which resulted in the death of at least 674 people (with many others injured and families displaced) and total damages of around P2 billion.
