17 May CDeO Gov’t to give 5-month salary differential to City Hall employees

From Cagayan de Oro News Bulletin, the City Hall employees and staff will receive 5-month salary differentials aside from the 1-month midyear bonus.
The Acting City Administrator- Donnie Gersana announced this news after it was approved by the council headed by Vice Mayor Joaquin “Kikang” Uy the allocation of P50.6 million for the implementation of the second tranche of the Salary Standardization Law.
Based on this development, Gersana hopes that the official and staffs will be valued and return the favor with diligence and good service for the betterment of the city.
The second round of the wage increase under the Executive Order No. 210 and Department of Budget Management (DBM) Local Budget Circular No. 113 was passed last January 5, 2017.
According to Gersana, the preparation of Human Resource and Management Office and Notice of Salary Adjustment (NOSA) that serve as the basis for the 5-month salary differential that was retroactive from the month of January until May this year.
The salary increase will take effect this July 2017.
