It’s that time of the year when photographers around the world assemble on the same day to explore, take pictures, share photos with one another, make new friends and become a part of a great cause. This coming October 1, 2016 will be the 9th Annual Worldwide Photo Walk as announced by Scott Kelby. This event is the world’s largest photo walk to be participated by thousands of cities across the globe. To mention that last year 2015, 25,000 photographers converged to explore their respective corners of the world through photography and social community.

Dubbed as the world’s largest global and social photography event, the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk has grown hugely in popularity and in size since its inaugural walk in 2007. And to introduce its concept, simple. Walk Leaders from cities around the world are the ones who will be presiding the Photo Walks. Walkers, or the participants, will meet up at a pre-designated location either downtown areas, business parks, zoos, and what have you, to spend a few hours socializing, taking pictures and sharing with people of like minds. Most groups then gather at local restaurants where they share their photos and experiences over food after the photo walk.
