CDO Task Force Burns P600,000 Worth Of Illegal Firecrackers

Mga higala! An estimated P600,000 worth of illegal firecrackers were burned by Cagayan de Oro City’s Task Force Fireworks at Camp Capistrano, Barangay Gusa, last Friday, January 4.

Illegal Firecrackers

A total of 64 boxes of “Judas’ Belt” or Sawa and other pyrotechnic devices were burned.

The illegal firecrackers did not bear the Philippine Standard (PS) Mark, which certifies that it’s safe to use, and was duly confiscated on December 31,  2018, at stores in Rotonda, Barangay Nazareth, and around the Cogon and Puerto Public Market.
