17 Dec CDO Gov’t To Allocate Funds For COVID-19 Vaccines
Mga higala! Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno has said in a recent press briefing that the city government will be allocating funds in order to buy COVID-19 vaccines for its residents this 2021!
Moreno said that even though they cannot realistically provide everyone with the said vaccines, they will allot funds to purchase them.
However, he added that Cagayan de Oro will receive assistance from the national government and expressed that the private sector might also help. He also said that it’s important to ensure the efficient implementation of vaccination program/s.
“What we may not have in abundant funds, we can make up for that through an efficient vaccination program and we´re getting ready for that.”
Moreover, ICYDK, Cagayan de Oro, along with Davao City, was identified as key distribution centers for the COVID-19 vaccines that will be rolled out in Mindanao.
