21 Oct CDO TOYSHOW 2016: First Toy Convention in NorthMin on Its 2nd Year Coming November

This coming November 26 to 27, the most awaited event among toy hobbyists is going to have its 2nd toy convention at the Limketkai Rotunda. CDO TOYSHOW 2016, produced by Kristoffer Jan Liao and Rick Tidoy of CDO Toyzone, is expected to be packed with more exciting activities.
Toys from well-known toy makers such as Bandai, Goodsmile, Hasbro, Hot Toys, Kotobukiya and Square Enix will be displayed in the Toy Exhibit intended for interested toy collectors.
“The toys that we will feature are really legit ones which can cost up to P6,000 when ordered online. In this event, we want toy enthusiasts to come together and discover more fandoms and participate in more toy show activities,” said Liao.
Aside of the exhibit, there are also other activities such as Cosplay contests, Cardfight Vanguard and Magic Tournament, Art Exhibit, Gundam Workshops, and Geek Wars.

Such event is being anticipated across the globe and to name a few of the toy conventions are the Toycon, San Diego Comic Con and Hobby Con. And with the presence of the CDO Toy Show here in Cagayan de Oro, Kagay-anons and the people of Northern Mindanao are able to participate and express their fondness with toys.
According to the organizers, the children in the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s Reception and Study Center for Children (RSSC) are the beneficiaries of the event’s proceeds coming from the registration fees, donations, video and game tournaments, and in-card games. Half of it will be for the arrangement of a Christmas party for the children of RSCC comes December.
