25 Aug Cebu Pacific To Charge At Least P1,000 For Extra Hand Carry Bag, Start: Sept. 1
Mga higala! Cebu Pacific Air will be charging P1,000 or more for every extra hand-carry baggage starting September 1, 2021!
ICYDK, every passenger is allowed only 1 carry-on bag or cabin trolley that can easily fit in the overhead bins.
Passengers with excess hand-carry baggage or those whose baggage weight exceeds 7 kilograms will be charged with the gate baggage fees below:
- Domestic flight– P1,000
- Short-haul flight– P1,500
- Long-haul flight– P3,000
However, equipment for medical needs and for infants are exempted from the said fees, according to a report from the Philippine News Agency (PNA).
(Note: This is being implemented to ensure that Cebu Pacific Air avoids unnecessary flight delays.)
