16 Mar CebuPac starts new flights from CDO to Bacolod, Tagbilaran
The leading airline carrier in the Philippines has started new flights from Cagayan de Oro to Bacolod and Tagbilaran last Wednesday, March 15.
The new flights between Cagayan de Oro and Tagbilaran will be four times a week and Cagayan de Oro to Bacolod would be three times a week.
The new routes eliminate travelers to book flights to Manila going to these areas. Cebu Pacific said the new flights will only not boost tourism but increase trade and productivity as well.
“We at CEB (Cebu Pacific) are very thrilled to begin flying to and from these destinations. We believe that these new routes will not only boost tourism, but also increase trade and productivity between the Visayas and Mindanao. Movement of goods between these islands will also be facilitated as CEB cargo services are also available in these new routes. CEB is likewise optimistic that our newest routes will encourage a number of tourists and businessmen from Tagbilaran and Bacolod to visit Mindanao more often with direct flights,” said Alexander Lao, president and CEO of Cebgo.
