28 Apr LOOK: Centenarians @ Ozamiz City Receive P300,000 Each
Mga higala! Two (2) centenarians in Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental, received a P300,000 cash gift each this April 2023!
The said individuals are Mrs. Pompia Balcita of Brgy. Maningcol and Mrs. Tiburcia Parojinog of Brgy. Molicay.
Wow kaayo noh? Below is the breakdown of the said cash gift:
- P100,000 – from DSWD (by virtue of RA 10868 aka Centenarians Act of 2026)
- P100,000 – from Gov. Henry Oaminal and the provincial government
- P100,00 – from Mayor Henry Oaminal, Vice Mayor Simplicia Neri, and the city council
Balcita and Parojinog also received a signed letter from President Bongbong Marcos:
