21 Mar CEPALCO Issues Warning About Fake Electric Bill Collectors In Cagayan de Oro City
Mga higala! The Cagayan de Oro Electric Power and Light Company Incorporated has issued a warning to its costumers against CEPALCO impostors or fake inspectors and bill collectors, who are visiting houses in the city.
According to their official Facebook page, the company was alerted when they received multiple reports from Kagay-anons, detailing that suspicious persons are claiming to be employees of CEPALCO and are trying to do wiring inspections and are asking house owners to pay their electric bills upfront.
CEPALCO would like to remind everyone that they only receive bill payments in their offices and in accredited collecting banks or centers.
