Chinese Boy In Cebu Found Negative For Coronavirus After Addt’l Tests

Mga higala! According to the Department of Health (DOH) of Central Visayas (Region 7), the 5-year-old Chinese boy in Cebu City has now tested negative for a coronavirus infection, based on their recent tests!

The boy is now recovering and may soon be discharged.

Magaling na naman ‘yung bata, may ubo na lang,”  said DOH spokesperson Eric Domingo in today’s media briefing.

However, Philippine authorities are still waiting for the confirmatory test results from Australia, on a throat swab and blood sample.

ICYMI, the boy is from the city of Wuhan and arrived in Cebu last January 12. He then got admitted to a hospital due to fever, throat irritation, and cough.
