CHO Urges Kagay-anons to Take Precautions Against Dengue This Wet Season

Mga higala! With the start of the wet season, the City Health Office (CHO) is urging the public to consider safety measures against dengue.

Based on their records, City Epidemiologist Dr. Teodulfo Joselito Retuya Jr. disclosed that they have documented 464 dengue cases from January to June 11 of this year.

This number is lower than the 869 dengue cases that were recorded in the same period last year, but still, Kagay-anons are encouraged to do their part in getting rid of the potential breeding spots of dengue mosquitoes through comprehensive cleaning.

If all residents cooperate, the city can keep the number of dengue cases low.
