03 Sep CIDG Arrests ROD Head In Bukidnon For Demanding Money In Exchange For Land Titles
Mga higala! The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Force Unit-10 (CIDG RFU-10) has recently arrested Atty. Manuel C. Felicia, the head of the Registry of Deeds (ROD) in the Province of Bukidnon, in an entrapment operation, for allegedly demanding money in exchange for the early approval and release of Land Titles!
The suspect is 62 years old, married, and is said to be a resident of Brgy. Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City.
According to reports, the said entrapment was conducted due to the complaint of Atty. Policarpo Inson Catalan, a resident of Quezon, Bukidnon, who reported that Felicia demanded money from clients despite submitting complete requirements for their Certificate of Land Titles (CLT).
This allegedly happened multiple times to Catalan’s friends and other clients.
