05 Nov City Council Intensifies “Clean As You Go” Campaign In Cagayan de Oro
Mga higala! Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya, the majority floor leader of the 19th City Council, is now intensifying their “CLEAN AS YOU GO” campaign a.k.a. the recently approved CLAYGO Ordinance of Cagayan de Oro!
The said ordinance, City Ordinance No. 13968-2020, aims to implement the CLAYGO policy in every food establishment or public eating place in the city.
With this, clients or diners are required to clean-up after themselves after eating or drinking in:
- restaurants,
- eateries,
- fast-food chains,
- bakeries,
- school or office canteens,
- karenderyas,
- and more.
Violators may receive the following fines:
- 1st Offense: P1,000
- 2nd Offense: P2,000
- 3rd Offense: P3,000
