06 Apr Council Enacts Ordinance Mandating The Wearing Of Face Masks In Cagayan de Oro

Mga higala! The 19th City Council has enacted an ordinance that strictly requires the wearing of face masks of all persons entering Cagayan de Oro City and its public places, during the current COVID-19 pandemic or when there is a declaration of Community Quarantine!
Violators will be subjected to a penalty of community service:
- 1st offense: 2 hours of community service
- 2nd offense: 4 hours of community service
- 3rd offense: 8 hours of community service
