16 Nov City Government Provides Assistance To The Affected Families In Agora
In an article posted by Cagayan de Oro Philippines, families who were affected by the clearing operations in the roads of Agora-Valenzuela, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro were temporarily sheltered in the evacuation center in Barangay Indahag.
It was discovered that thirteen families were affected by the clearing operations that were conducted by the Department of Public Ways and Highways, Task Force Hapsay Dalan, Roads, and Traffic Administration (RTA), Policemen and other agencies in the city with regards to the opening of the coastal road last week.
The City Housing and Urban Development Department (CHUDD) officer Chylie Gayla explained that among the thirteen families, only 7 stayed in the evacuation center since the others decided to live together with their children.
Further, the affected families were given cash assistance and 1 sack of rice through the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) and Department of Welfare and Development (DSWD).
