19 Jun City Gov’t Allocates P408 Million For Drainage & Flood Control Projects In Cagayan de Oro
Mga higala! Under the administration of Mayor Oscar Moreno, over P408 MILLION has been allocated by the City Government of Cagayan de Oro for various drainages, flood control, riverbank/slope protection, and de-clogging works from the year 2015 to 2019.
As of now, more than 22,000 linear meters of flood control projects have now been accomplished in Brgy. Puerto, Bugo, Gusa, Cugman, Agusan, Lapasan and the other barangays of District 1.
These are expected to reduce the major flooding problems of CDO, especially this rainy season, once the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) finishes their drainage projects, and connect it to the drainage network of the city.
