21 May City Gov’t Quarantines Macanhan Area Due To Positive COVID-19 Case
Mga higala! The City Government of Cagayan de Oro has sealed off the Macanhan area in Brgy. Carmen, after a 62-year-old female resident who recently died at the NMMC, tested positive for COVID-19!
Mayor Oscar Moreno has ordered the police and the Incident Management Team under the CDRRMD to cordon the area, especially the section around the said resident’s house.
Checkpoints have been set on all entry and exit points of Macanhan and no one will be allowed to enter or leave without an acceptable reason.
Moreover, the city’s health personnel have started their contact tracing and the patient’s husband and daughter are now under isolation.
