02 Oct City Hall Worker Arrested for Alleged Involvement in Illegal Drug Trade

In an article from Sunstar.com.ph, a worker at the Cagayan de Oro City Agriculture’s Office was arrested by police authorities in a drug bust operation at the suspect’s residence at Barra, Macabalan, Cagayan de Oro City last September 29, 2017.
City Hall employee Wisconsin Brazil, 29 years old, was arrested by the operatives of Police Station 2 Cogon Area after two sachets of shabu worth P5,000 was found in his possession.
Police Station 2 Chief Inspector Harvey Abellanosa said that Brazil is a new police target who has been engaging in illegal drug activities and has been under the surveillance for quite some time.
The suspect, an employee of the City’s Agriculture Office for already four months, is facing criminal charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165) and is likely to be dismissed from his position as a government employee.
