13 Feb Classes in ALL Levels Suspended Due to TS Basyang
Classes have been suspended throughout Mindanao due to the threat of Tropical Storm Basyang which is expected to make landfall in Caraga region this morning, around 9-11 AM.

In PAG-ASA’s 8 a.m. bulletin, the center of Tropical Storm “BASYANG”, based on all available data is located at 80 km Northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 80 kph.
Basyang is now expected to move northwest at 25 kph.
Tropical cyclone warning signal no. 2 was raised over the following areas:
-Agusan del Norte
-Agusan del Sur
-Bohol
-Camiguin
-Dinagat Island
-Misamis Oriental
-Negros Oriental
-Northern section of Bukidnon
-Siquijor
-Southern Cebu
-Southern Leyte
-Southern Negros Occidental
-Surigao del Norte
-Surigao del Sur
Meanwhile, tropical cyclone warning signal no. 1 remains over the following areas:

-Antique
-Biliran
