LOOK: Climber From Bukidnon Celebrates Birthday @ Mt. Everest, Wears Ethnic Attire

Mga higala! Liezel Tiongson, a climber from Bukidnon, recently celebrated her birthday on Mt. Everest, while proudly wearing ethnic attire!

Together with several climbers from other countries, Tiongson stopped by one of the mountain’s base camps, ate a birthday cake, and took lots of pictures.

Check out the images below:

BTW, below is her post’s caption:

I think most of my friends are aware that we, in Dauntless Outdoors do celebrate the special days of our clients on the mountains such as birthdays. We usually prepare birthday cakes and make sure to bring it to the summit in good shape.

Never did I expect that I would experience the same in Mt. Everest base camp! Yes, I successfully reached EBC on my birthday with both heavy and grateful heart (next post na ang reasons). The partner operator prepared a surprise birthday cake from the world’s highest Cafe 5000 MASL. The cake arrived in EBC totally in good shape and when tasted it oh my! lami jud sya!!

Fellow trekkers from Nepal, India, and Vietnam celebrated with me! Daghang salamat!

I am immensely grateful to our living God for granting my heart’s desire. I can’t even believe I’m here now.

To God be the glory!
