07 Nov LOOK: Coastal Flooding To Possibly Affect Cagayan de Oro City By 2050
Mga higala! Based on a new study by Climate Central, various towns and cities in the Philippines, including Cagayan de Oro, could be affected by the risk of COASTAL FLOODING by the year 2050, because of climate change!
According to a report by GMA News, the study showed that 150 million people currently living on land will be submerged 3 decades from now and this will mostly have an impact on countries like the Philippines, China, Bangladesh, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan.
“Analysis reveals a developed global coastline three times more exposed to extreme coastal water levels than previously thought,” the study said.
