26 Dec COCPO: Christmas Celebration-Generally Peaceful

The Cagayan de Oro City Police Office or COCPO gladly announced that there were no casualties during this year’s Christmas celebration.
This was despite terrorist threats and TS Vinta’s intensity in Cagayan de Oro City last week.
Not even a firework-related incident was reported according to C/Insp. Mardi Hortillosa’s statement to Bombo Radyo.
Hortillosa also added that the strict ban against firecracker may have helped acquire this result. And although everything was peaceful throughout the holiday, the COCPO never let their guard down in case of any emergencies.
This just proves that as long as Kagay-anons are synchronized with the same goal, we can always achieve peace and safety. Merry Christmas!
