26 Apr Collapsed Footbridge Sends Lawmaker and Local Officials Into Water
ZAMBOANGA CITY – A makeshift NHA footbridge at the Zamboanga City Roadmap to Recovery and Reconstruction (Z3R) project collapsed this morning, April 26, 2018, which sent Negros Occidental 3rd District Rep. Albee Benitez and Zamboanga City 1st District Rep. Celso Lobregat along with other local officials into the water.
According to reports from ABS-CBN and GMA News, the involved lawmaker and local officials were conducting an inspection of an NHA housing project when the ‘collapsed footbridge’ incident occurred. See pictures below:
