In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) tightened their preparation for the upcoming Barangay and SK elections this year in Mindanao, despite that it’s postponement this year.
COMELEC Regional Director Atty. Reynato Magbutay said that their officials will go full blast on their preparations particularly in the month of December this year since the elections will happen by January 2018.
The said reason for the delay of the elections for Barangay and SK officials is the implementation of Martial Law in Mindanao.
