Comelec Voter Registration To Start This August 2019

(UPDATED) Mga higala! The VOTER REGISTRATION of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) will finally resume this August 2019!

The various offices of election officers (OEOs) nationwide will be open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Saturday, including holidays, to accept registrants.

To register, follow the qualifications:

  • Filipino Citizen.
  • 18 years old on or before the election day.
  • A resident of the Philippines for at least 1 year.
  • A resident of the place where you intend to vote for at least 6 months before the next election.

And just bring the original and photocopy of at least one (1) of the requirements below:

  • Student ID or Library Card
  • Company or Employee’s ID
  • Postal ID
  • Senior Citizen’s ID
  • Driver’s license
  • BIR ID
  • NBI Clearance
  • Passport
  • SSS/GSIS ID
  • IBP ID
  • PRC ID

(The requirements above need to be addressed to where the applicant wants to register or transfer.)

This voter registration will end on September 28.

Moreover, Comelec will also conduct satellite registrations during the period, wherein field officials will go to barangays (villages), public plazas, schools, and other public places to register voters.
