27 Jun Committee On Health Investigates Eat-All-You-Can Resto In Cagayan de Oro For Food Poisoning
Mga higala! An investigation is now being conducted by Cagayan de Oro City’s Committee on Health towards BORJ Tuna atbp., an eat-all-you-can restaurant along Tiano-Del Pilar Street, due to the alleged food poisoning incidents suffered by some of their customers recently.
The investigation is led by Committee Chairman and City Councilor Maria Lourdes Gaane, in coordination with the City Health Office (CHO).
According to a report by RMN Cagayan de Oro, a certain Julius Jemeniro, 47 years old, filed a complaint at the Divisoria Police Station, saying that after eating lunch at BORJ Tuna atbp. last Monday, June 24, he and his family experienced vomiting and diarrhea and were brought to the Polymedic Hospital.
Julius also stated that they ate the restaurant’s seafood and chicken dishes, together with some watermelons and pineapples.

The City Health Office is now gathering medical reports from the hospitals of these customers and more, in order to determine the cause of the food poisoning incidents.
