07 May COVID-19 Testing In Cagayan de Oro City To ‘Hopefully’ Start In 2 Weeks
Mga higala! The Department of Health of Region 10 (DOH-10) is now hoping that the COVID-19 facilities in Cagayan de Oro City will start testing in about 2 weeks!
According to Assst. Regional Director Dr. David Mendoza, RITM representatives will arrive later this week or early next week to conduct a final evaluation and to examine the gene expert machine of the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), the Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) machine of the DOH-10 Tuberculosis Reference Center in Brgy. Carmen, and the RT-PCR machine of the Polymedic Medical Plaza.
Experts will then start training those who will be involved in COVID-19 testings, by next week.
After all these, DOH is expecting the said COVID-19 facilities to finally conduct full-scale testing.
