01 Oct COVID-19 Vaccination For Minors 12-17 Years Old To Begin With Children With Comorbidities
Mga higala! The COVID-19 vaccination of minors who are within the age range of 12-17 years old will start with children with comorbidities!
The vaccinations will start this October 2021 together with the vaccination of the general population.
This is according to the latest updates from the Department of Health (DOH).
The said children will be part of the A3 priority group and their vaccination will require informed consent from their parents or guardians (and themselves).
In line with this, the national government will make sure of the availability and supply of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, which were given the Emergency Use Authorization by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in minors ages 12-17 years old.
