22 May COWD helps CdeO public schools in Brigada Eskwela

The Cagayan de Oro City Water District (COWD) helped different schools in the city in their Brigada Eskwela program which will be extended on the start of the school year this coming June.
COWD also donated 10 water jugs, garbage bins, liquid hand soap with hand washing instructions and posters for promotion and advocacy on how to conserve and collect rainwater that will help the schools in various ways.
The agency also intends to help the schools in their technical needs with regards to their water system concerns.
With this, the agency believes that the true quality of education is not just imparting knowledge and skills to students but it also involves influencing their youthful minds with the importance of health, sanitation, and environment.
This year, Bayabas Elementary School, Cagayan de Oro National High School (Annex), City Central School and San Simon Elementary School are COWD’s recipients for this year. -Kagay-an.com
