14 Apr Curfew Violators in CDO Get Profiled and Lectured with COVID-19 Film Showing
In a report from Sunstar, violators of the imposed curfew in Cagayan de Oro City during the Holy Week were gathered and lectured about the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) while being put under police custody.
Since the start of implementing the city-wide community quarantine, there have been a total of 1,913 curfew violators who were accosted, 92 of whom were rounded on Maundy Thursday and 69 more on Good Friday.
Aside from the said lecture, the curfew violators were also profiled.
Authorities are urging the public to strictly stay at home, which is the simplest way to cooperate in their efforts in curbing the spread of COVID-19.
