Mga higala! The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has destroyed smuggled cigarettes worth P30 million yesterday, September 8, 2021, inside the Digama Warehouse and Destruction Facility in Brgy. Bayabas!
The shipment of the said cigarettes was intercepted with the help of information gathered by intelligence agencies. It was misdeclared as personal effects and was consigned to a certain individual from General Santos City.
A total of 977 master cases of cigarettes or 48,850 reams were shredded. Check out the photos below:
