19 May DA Distributes P3.9 Million Cash Aid To Farmers In Cagayan de Oro & Misamis Oriental
Mga higala! The Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10) through the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) has recently distributed a total of P3.955 million to 791 farmers in the province!
The beneficiaries include rice farmers from the towns of Alubijid, Magsaysay, Balingasag, Jasaan, Villanueva, Lagonglong, Claveria and the cities of El Salvador, Gingoog and Cagayan de Oro. Each of them received P5,000.
This cash is for qualified farmers with a landholding of 1 hectare and below, who are duly registered under the updated Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA).
ICYDK, 1,840 rice farmers from 15 other municipalities in Misamis Oriental already received this subsidy, earlier this year.
