16 Feb LOOK: DA-10 & NORMINHOG Send 580 Pigs To Metro Manila
Mga higala! The Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10) and the Northern Mindanao Hog Raisers Association (NORMINHOG) sent off a total of 580 hogs or pigs today, February 16, 2021, to Metro Manila!
This aims to help stabilize the local retail price of pork in Metro Manila amid the recent implementation of the price ceiling, in accordance with Executive Order 124.
ICYDK, the National Capital Region’s (NCR) supply is severely being affected by the African Swine Fever (ASF) until now.

These hogs were transported via Oceanic Container Lines, Inc. and are expected to arrived in North Port, Tondo, Manila tomorrow, February 17.
