14 Mar DA Showcases Strawberry Production @ Korean-Funded Smart Greenhouse In Bukidnon
Mga higala! The Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 10 recently exhibited their strawberry production using the high-tech Korean-funded smart greenhouse at the Northern Mindanao Agricultural Crops and Livestock Research Complex, in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon!
This smart greenhouse features irrigation and automation systems that can be remotely monitored using computers or phones.
This aims to encourage more and would-be farmers to engage in the production of high-value crops like strawberries, tomatoes, potatos, and peppers.

ICYDK, this smart greenhouse is part of the P70.2 MILLION collaborative project dubbed as the Establishment of Smart Greenhouse and Capacity Building in the Philippines.
This is primarily funded by South Korea’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs thru the Korea Agency of Education, Promotion and Information Services in Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and the Philippines through the Region 10 office of the Department of Agriculture (DA) under the leadership of Regional Executive Director Carlene Collado.
